Latest RainLily tram ad promotes awareness on Image-Based Sexual Violence and consent
RainLily has launched a new tram advertisement campaign to promote awareness on Image-Based Sexual Violence (IBSV) and consent.
Officially launched in July 2022, one side of the tram body advertisement highlights IBSV as a violation of one's bodily autonomy and stresses that if your nudes have been shared online without your consent, it is not your fault and you should not be blamed for what happened.
Another side of the tram features the Cantonese tagline that reads 'Consent to be filmed ≠ Consent to be shared' (同意影 ≠ 同意Share), a message that highlights consent should be exclusive. If you have swapped nudes, or agreed to take an intimate image, the consent you have given never automatically implies consent for that image to be shared with others.
Seeme.hk, a website dedicated in providing support resources on IBSV, has been relaunched to provide updated information for the public and those experience IBSV as part of this campaign.
RainLily would like to thank Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Hong Kong for supporting this campaign and our on-going work against Image-Based Sexual Violence in Hong Kong.
