RainLily “Her Story Can Be Rewritten” Charity Event and special screening of “ROOM”

RainLily has a charity screening to be held on 6th April, 2016. The file, "Room" tells the extraordinary story of Jack, a spirited 5-year-old who is looked after by his loving and devoted mother, Joy. Their life, however, is anything but typical—they are trapped—confined to a windowless, 10-by-10-foot space, which Joy has euphemistically named “Room.” The main actress Brie Larson has won th 2016 "Bestt Actress" Oscar, she sensitively displays the resilience of “sexual violence survivors” to turn desperation into hope. Therefore, this charity screening aims to raise awareness and funds for sexualized violence prevention and remediation.

We are delighted to have Tsang Kit Fong Ruth, Representative of Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild and DJ of Metro Broadcast Corporation Limited, as our officiating guest at the ceremony. The event has been successfully completed!
