Anti-Gender Based Violence Activism

RealMenHK Campaign Co-organized by
ACSVAW and Women Helping Women Hong Kong

In response to the 16 Days of Activism for International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (From November 25th to December 10th Human Rights Day), Association Concerning Sexual Violence Against Women (ACSVAW) is co-organizing Real Men Campaign with Women Helping Women Hong Kong. We are grateful to have invited member of band C AllStar Andy Leung, TV presenter Dominic Lau and HK Rugby Union Players Cado Lee & Salom Yiu to be our #RealMenHK ambassadors this year.
 

20 men from various fields are supporting this campaign, including Mr. Anthony Wong (Actor), Mr. Yeung Ying-wai (radio host and actor), Mr. Poon Chan-leung (actor), Mr. Jimmy Mak (member of LMF), Dr. Joseph Cho (Lecturer, Gender Studies Programme, The Chinese University of Hong Kong), Kurt W. Tong (US Consul General to Hong Kong and Macau), Dr. Philip Beh (Associate Professor, Department of Pathology, The University of Hong Kong), Dr. Fernando Cheung, Mr. Ray Chan Chi-chuen, Mr. Eddie Chu Hoi-dick (LegCo member). ACSVAW and Women Helping Women Hong Kong wish to spread the message, especially to men, for their engagement in this important cause and to stop sexual violence from happening in their daily lives.
