Survey on 'Non-Consensual Condom Removal' and other related Sexual Violence
The Association Concerning Sexual Violence Against Women (the Association, or ACSVAW) is conducting a survey on sexual violence acts sometimes referred to as 'stealthing' and other forms of sexual violence. These acts include the non-consensual removal or sabotage of a condom during sexual activity, ejaculation inside someone without prior consent, and other acts of sexual violence committed without consent during sexual encounters. The survey aims to collect victim-survivors' experiences and the public's perceptions of these behaviours to gain a deeper understanding of the harms caused by such sexual violence. Additionally, it seeks to understand the difficulties survivors face in seeking help and to advocate for legal reform and the establishment of relevant policies.
