Jay's Story

When I was working, my boss suddenly sat in my seat, looking at me in a sexual manner and posing sexually, which made me feel nauseous and disrespected. Although I knew it was inappropriate, I did not know if it was illegal. The situation lasted for more than a month, leaving me afraid to go to work. Later, I found other colleagues were sexually harassed and remained silent only due to fear of losing their jobs. Through the free Legal Clinic services, the lawyer carefully read the documents and gave me valuable professional advice. I learned my rights and gained confidence in the legal process. As a result, I went to the EOC to complain about my boss's sexual harassment and the company's improper handling of it, and he admitted fault. I hope other women will never be silent again!
